Well up on my daily quota for at least one collage a day for the new year. I wonder how long it will last? Inspired by research into the Victorian illustrator Randolph Caldecott who was born in Chester and went to Manchester Art School. He was rather too fond of hunting by all accounts but did some nice illustrations for children's books including nursery rhymes.

- I grew up in the home counties around London during the 50's and 60's. Went to several art schools including Southend ,Chelsea and Manchester. Trained as a painter and printmaker but now mostly using collage. Collect novelty songs and old mail art amongst other things too numerous to mention.
